When you access GALILEO or individual databases through links from the Library's web pages, you will generally use your Middle Georgia State email username and password:

• Firstname.Lastname
• Email password

In most cases, you will NOT need the GALILEO password. However, if you do, use one of the following resources to find it:

Desire2Learn:

1. Log in to D2L as usual.
2. The GALILEO password is displayed on the opening page.

GIL-Find:

1. From the GIL-Find homepage, click on "Get GALILEO password"
2. Enter your Institution ID (student ID number), last name, and PIN number

3. Click Login

Classic GIL:

1. From the Classic GIL homepage, click on "Get GALILEO password"
2. Enter your Institution ID (student ID number), last name, and PIN number
• (see "How to Get a Pin for GIL" on left of page)
3. Click "Login to My Account"
