Banned Books Week 2021
Banned Books Week
September 26- October 2, 2021
Banned Books Week is an annual weeklong campaign encouraging intellectual freedom and the right to read. There are many books that have been challenged or banned in public and school libraries, academic libraries, bookstores, and elsewhere for a variety of reasons. Banned Books Week brings people together to celebrate the right to read and express ideas, even ones that are considered controversial or unorthodox by some.
