EBSCO Mobile iPhone and Android App
The EBSCO Mobile app allows users to take advantage of the inherent strengths of their mobile devices, such as sharing links via native iOS and Android tools, using facial recognition for login, voice-to-text searching, audio play of content and finding their library based on geolocation.
The EBSCO Mobile app is available for download from the Apple App store as well as Google Play.
After downloading the EBSCO Mobile app, it must be authenticated with an EBSCOhost profile.
To authenticate the EBSCO Mobile app:
- Click the Get started link at the bottom of the app and enter your institution (MIDDLE GEORGIA STATE UNIV - Macon, Georgia, United States).
- Sign In and connect your institution with the app.
Notes:
- Can users access EBSCO eBooks in the mobile app?
- Yes. Users of Apple and Android devices can download and read EBSCO eBooks within the app without needing an Adobe ID or the separate Adobe Digital Editions app to read them.
- To access a different profile from the app, click the Get started link from within the new profile and complete the authentication steps.
