This research guide is here to help you with your Film Background Report assignment for Dr. Brennan's HUMN 1002.

You must choose an American fictional film and research a what is historically happening around the time of the film's release. We'll be researching social issues that appears or is discussed in your film.

You'll need two credible library articles, published within three years prior to your film's release: one source must be peer-reviewed and the other one must be either peer-reviewed or from a reliable news source.

You must cite your sources in MLA style.
