Project Management

A structured guide highlighting resources to help complete the assignments associated with Project Management courses at Middle Georgia State University.

 

Module Six

 

Purpose:

The purpose of this assignment is to understand and recall the five project management process groups, and ten knowledge areas to recognize how they contribute to organizational IT knowledge.  You will interpret how various aspects of the project management plan can affect IT projects. 

Students will:

  • Conduct research on quality assurance and quality control measures in the context of IT project management. You will look at how these concepts contribute to project charters.
  • Read and analyze a case study
  • Assess how quality assurance measures/ quality control measures influence the scope of IT projects
  • Critically evaluate the project charter or knowledge areas associated with the project
  • Analyze organizational factors that helped or hindered in the implementation 
  • Present suggestions regarding how the organization might leverage quality assurance or control in the future. 
 

Tasks
